"Heuristics are your friend: How to influence and scale with tried-and-true content standards"

Presented at the Button 2025 content design conference, this talk showed

• How short, usable standards can help teams and leadership get aligned on content goals
• Steps to translate heuristics into content models for components like empty states and tooltips

Scaled a content design team by demonstrating its value to the business

This involved creating and socializing a growth plan for Duo Security content design to gain leadership buy-in.  

Improved content accessibility and consistency—within and across products

This powered a redesign for a set of authentication products in the Duo Security portfolio.
