Making words work 

My first jobs were in book publishing, where I nurtured a lifelong love of books, writing, and learning. As part of a website redesign, I was paired with a skilled UX designer who very kindly let shadow her on user interviews and during design crits. I was smitten.

I read up on UX design, research, and writing, got to know folks in those communities, then completed a UX design bootcamp. I was fortunate to start my UX career on wonderful product content teams at Fidelity and VMWare Carbon Black. 

Now I'm a Lead Content Designer at Duo Security, part of Cisco, and I live with my family in Ann Arbor, MI.
