It's always been about language, for me

My first jobs were in book publishing, where I nurtured a lifelong love of books, writing, and learning. I caught a lucky break when I was put on a project with a skilled (and very patient) UX designer who introduced me to UX.

After that I read the greats, from Halvorson to Krug, and completed a UX design bootcamp. I was fortunate to start my UX career as part of wonderful product content teams at Fidelity and VMWare Carbon Black.

Now I'm a Lead Content Designer at Cisco Security. What motivates me is to advocate for clarity and simplicity in a complex, ever-evolving space.

I live with my family in Ann Arbor, MI.
